Elijah Kalā (Kah-LĀH) McShane is a kanaka maoli culturalist, ceremonialist, and thought leader coming from O’ahu, in the Hawaiian Kingdom. He is the founder of Awakened Aloha, an organization whose focus is to “inspire a world where A.L.O.H.A is the heartbeat of humanity by unifying people & bridging cultures”. He shares message called The Way of Aloha that helps people implement the spiritual principles of Aloha ‘Āina (love for the land), Aloha Akua (love for Spirit), and Aloha Kanaka (love for one another), which is the foundation for his newly founded community called Hale Lōkahi (the house of Unity).
Dr. Maile Arvin

Dr. Maile Arvin is a Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian) feminist scholar. At the University of Utah, she is an associate professor of History and Gender Studies, as well as the director of the Center for Pasifika Indigenous Knowledges and the Pacific Islands Studies program. Her first book, Possessing Polynesians: The Science of Settler Colonial Whiteness in Hawaiʻi and Oceania, was published with Duke University Press in 2019. Dr. Gerry Ebalaroza-Tunnell, known as Dr. G, embodies the Aloha Spirit, nurturing leadership for cohesive communities. With a doctorate in transformative studies, she authored "Let’s Live Aloha" for young readers and is set to release her memoir on self-discovery and mixed heritage in 2024.
