The Rosebud Sioux Tribe is trying to gather information on how to have their ancestors who are buried at the Carlisle Indian School returned to them. The move towards having remains removed occurred after a tribal youth group visited the school. Upon completion of the trip, students in the youth group asked why they can’t bring their relatives home, which prompted the tribe to begin the process of trying to gather information on how to do so.
