Congratulations on promotion to Executive Director!

Hired in 2015, Christine Diindiisi McCleave was NABS’s first staff person and has done much to build NABS’s programs and capacity since then. We hired her as Executive Officer and after four years with NABS the Board of Directors has promoted her to Executive Director. Join us in celebrating all that Christine has done for boarding school survivors and descendants over the years.

Wishing a fond farewell to Program Manager, Rose Miron

NABS’s wonderful Program Manger has taken an esteemed position at the Newberry as the new Director of the D’Arcy McNickle Center for American Indian and Indigenous Studies. Rose has contributed a great deal in her year at NABS from helping plan and run our inaugural national conference last fall to planning and developing the platform and framework for the first national Indian boarding school digital archive in the U.S. Rose’s last day with NABS will be June 21, 2019. We are very sad to see her go. Join us in congratulating her on her next exciting chapter.
